2/18/15 – Amit Shah Named Partner at Martin Law

(Philadelphia, PA) – Amit J. Shah has been named a partner at Martin Law.

Shah, who focuses his practice exclusively on Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation law, has handled hundreds of cases since joining Martin Law in 2007. In 2014, he became a certified specialist in Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation by the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Section on Workers’ Compensation Law, as authorized by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.

Prior to joining the firm, he worked as an associate with a boutique defense firm handling workers’ compensation litigation in Pennsylvania, and also served as a legal intern in immigration at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

He is a member of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, and the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Section on Workers’ Compensation. His speaking engagements include delivering a 2012 Continuing Legal Education program entitled “Workers’ Compensation Issues Involving the Large Employer” for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, the educational wing of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.

Shah is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University and the Dickinson School of Law of The Pennsylvania State University, and admitted to practice in Pennsylvania. He is fluent in Gujarati.
