(Philadelphia, PA) – Martin Law partner Joe Huttemann has been named the eastern district chair of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice (PAJ). As such, Huttemann will assist in leading the section’s efforts on behalf of members who represent injured worker claimants in the commonwealth.
The mission of the PAJ is to promote a fair and effective justice system and support attorneys who work on behalf of individuals injured through misconduct or negligence, both in Workers’ Compensation and other areas. The organization represents member interests in Harrisburg, offers continuing legal education seminars, produces a number of publications and hosts a listserv to foster discussion and communication between members.
Huttemann has practiced in the area of Workers’ Compensation litigation for 22 years. Prior to joining Martin Law, he handled Workers’ Compensation claims for insurance carriers and employers. He has written and spoken extensively on the Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Act and related areas. In 2013 he became a Pennsylvania Certified Workers’ Compensation Specialist and a certified specialist in Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Veterans’ Benefits.
