Lauren McDowell is an Associate with Martin Law who practices Pennsylvania workers’ compensation law. Ms. McDowell earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Justice Studies with a Minor in Legal Studies from Drexel University in 2018. She continued her education at Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law where she received a law degree in May of 2021. While at Villanova Law, Ms. McDowell served as a research assistant and focused on the area of employment discrimination. Additionally, at Villanova Law, she was a certified legal intern for the Civil Justice Clinic for the Fall 2020 semester. Ms. McDowell continued her service at the Civil Justice Clinic as an advanced clinical student for the Spring 2021 semester.
In addition, Ms. McDowell received the 2021 Irvin Stander Award from the Philadelphia Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Section. The Irvin Stander Award recognizes an outstanding law student who demonstrates legal acumen or scholarship in the area of workers’ compensation.
