Andrew Yang is an associate with Martin Law, who practices Social Security Disability law. Mr. Yang was inspired to practice law by reading Thomas Merton’s The Seven Storey Mountain in college. This story taught Mr. Yang the importance of a life lived in service for other people, and he believed that getting into law was a good way to do so in a practical manner. Mr. Yang believes in protecting the dignity of the people that society has made the most vulnerable, which is often those with disabilities. Social Security Disability is the most fundamental social program that addresses people with disabilities. When Mr. Yang is not practicing law, he can be found playing his violin with his band or at home with his two rabbits. An ideal weekend for Mr. Yang would be for him to grab a drink with friends or grab a book to read and relax.
