After all the evidence has been presented and the case is closed, the Judge will prepare a written decision, which will be mailed to you and a copy to our office. Depending on the Judge, this may take several weeks or several months. If the Judge makes an error of law an appeal can be filed to the Workers' Compensation Appeal Board. However, the Judge is the final finder of fact and factual issues cannot be overturned on appeal.
