Our Community Involvement
At Martin, Banks, Pond, Lehocky & Wilson, our commitment to serving the public does not end when the courtroom doors close. Our lawyers invest a significant amount of time and effort into fighting for the rights of injured workers. As a strong political voice for the working people of Pennsylvania, Martin, Banks, Pond, Lehocky & Wilson spends time lobbying with the Pennsylvania Legislature to support causes of injured workers and to defeat legislation that would take away clients' rights.
In addition, our attorneys are involved in the Philadelphia area and surrounding communities in various ways including:
- George Martin serves on the Planning Commission of West Vincent Township in Chester County, Pennsylvania. He also is on the Board of Directors of EarthJustice, a non-profit, public interest law firm dedicated to protecting natural resources and wildlife of the earth and defending the right of all people to have a healthy environment. George also started the George and Miriam Martin Foundation (www.themartinfoundation.org) in 1996 to protect our environment. Since that time, the Foundation has given more than $1,000,000 to charitable organizations working to protect rivers and watersheds.
- Halmon L. Banks, III serves as a Little League Coach for Chestnut Hill Youth Sports in the Germantown/Mount Airy section of Philadelphia.
