The WOGL Radiothon is a fundraising event for the Children's Miracle Network (CMN) at the Children's Hospital of Pennsylvania, which in the pass ten years has raised over $4.8 million dollars for the CMN. The two-day event allows for the 98.1 radio listeners to make donations by phone, online or in person. It also provides live entertainment, games and crafts for the children who are staying at CHOP.
The Children's Miracle Network is a non-profit charity that operates within the Children's Hospital of Pennsylvania and provides support for the patient care services offered to the children and families at CHOP. Dr. Stephen Altschuler, Chief Executive Officer of The Children's Hospital of Pennsylvania, said "It is gratifying to know that we can depend on the continuing support that comes from those who desire to help us in our efforts year after year."
Martin Banks is honored to be a supporter for such an important program in the community of Philadelphia
